"The best way to gain weight in America is to go on food stamps."
--Dr. Mehmet Oz on Oprah this morning
So, if we do this Lenten Experiment, will we need to get Easter outfits in a larger size?
In January of 2009 I began a Lenten experiment. I wanted to see if my husband and I could eat adequate amounts of tasty and nutritious food on a food-stamp budget. I also wanted to see what I might learn from the attempt. I recorded the experiment in fifty almost-daily posts on my blog Lively Dust. I am re-posting them here, beginning with the oldest, so you can easily read them in order of writing.

Unfortunately, it's true... :(
I stayed for a year to study in America. Majority of food that we were supplied was "not for sale", meant for poor people. I still (7-8 years later) have health problems deeper level (endocrinology) that started at that time to to unbalanced food.
